I was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa and have lived in Cedar Rapids since 1977. I'm the forth child in a family of seven kids and despite being married for 28 years, I'm always running into old friends who still know me as one of the "Sheridan kids". I've been happily married to my wonderful husband and best friend since 1978. Craig is an outdoorsman -- hunting, fishing, biking, canoeing; you name it, he does it! Being in the outdoors so often, Craig knows every corner of Iowa. He's been a developer for the past 31 years -- finding beautiful corners of Iowa and integrating the homes and landscape into a neighborhood. He has taught me so much about how homes can use the natural landscape and lighting to enhance a home. We have two adult daughters, Heather and Lindsey. Heather graduated from the University of Virginia and is currently a medical student at the University of Iowa. Lindsey graduated in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder and is currently hiking the Appalachian Trail. They are two adventurous girls -- they certainly keep me guessing and laughing. I have to admit that most of my interests focus around work. I just love the Real Estate business and the constant change and new faces that it brings to me. I get such joy out of helping people find a new home or sell their current house. However, when I am away from the office, I enjoy walking, biking, yoga, volunteering, and exploring new things to do in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. For my 50th birthday, I completed the RAGBRAI bike ride across Iowa and earned the memorable nickname, "On Your Right." And, I can tell you, that didn't come from me passing people! With twenty-eight years experience in the Real Estate business, I know the market extremely well. Its fun to do home searches and be able to accurately select homes for clients because I've showed, sold and listed so many homes over the years.
